No, there is no minimum number of participants for our group tours in Cuba. The trip is organised with a minimum of one participant. If you book your trip with us, you can therefore be sure from the time of booking that the trip will take place.
We use local, well-trained tour guides for our round trips through the Dominican Republic. Our tour guides are all state-licensed and have a really good knowledge of the German language. On our round trips, you will receive lots of interesting information about the country and its people, while our tour guides ensure a pleasant atmosphere and a great group feeling. After all, an unforgettable trip is not only characterised by the places you see and the knowledge you gain, but above all by the people you meet and the experiences you share.
Like our tour guides, our drivers are all state-licensed. Unlike our tour guides, not all drivers speak German or English. However, one tour guide and one driver are used on all round trips, so that the Cuban drivers' lack of knowledge of German is not a problem.
The size of the vehicle depends on the size of the group. In principle, there are different vehicle sizes in the Dominican Republic, ranging from cars, which are used for transfers or trips for one or two people, to buses with 44 seats. On a group tour, the buses are not filled to the last seat, but there are always some free seats to ensure a higher level of comfort on the routes.
All vehicles used on our tours through Cuba are air-conditioned.
The amount of time you spend on the coach each day depends on the programme. There are days when you spend very little to no time on the coach, especially if the entire day is available for sightseeing or other activities such as hiking. If longer journeys are on the programme, the journey can take several hours. We make sure that there are regular breaks in the journey so that you can stretch your legs.
