Day 1: Panama City

Welcome to Panama! You will land in Panama City in the afternoon. After your arrival, you will be transferred privately to your accommodation in the city centre. Depending on your arrival time, you will have the opportunity to take your first stroll through the modern metropolis or enjoy a relaxed dinner with a view of the impressive skyline. Enjoy the warm tropical atmosphere and get in the mood for the experiences to come.

Day 2: Panama City

Today is free for you to discover Panama City at your own pace. Stroll along the waterfront promenade with a view of the Pacific, enjoy a coffee in one of the charming cafés or immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the city.

Panama City uniquely combines modern architecture with colonial heritage. Between glass skyscrapers and historic alleyways, you will feel the special dynamism of this metropolis, which is considered the gateway between two oceans.

Day 3: Emberá village - Valle de Antón

Today, a special insight into the indigenous culture of Panama awaits you. You will travel by boat through a green river landscape deep into the jungle, where you will visit an Emberá community. On site, you will learn more about their traditions, music, dances and artistic crafts. A typical local lunch is part of this authentic experience.

In the afternoon, you will leave the lowlands and drive up into the fresh highlands of the Valle de Antón. This charming valley lies in a former volcanic crater and is known for its lush nature and pleasant climate.

Day 4: Valle de Antón

Day 5: Valle de Antón - Santa Catalina

Day 6: Isla Coiba

Today, an unforgettable nature experience awaits you in Coiba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site off the Pacific coast of Panama. Take a boat out to the islands of the archipelago, which are often referred to as the "Galápagos of Panama".

After your arrival in Panama City, you have the afternoon at leisure. Day 10: Medellín

Today you have time to get to know Medellín intensively. The city has undergone major changes in recent decades and is now considered one of the most innovative metropolises in Latin America. Modern architecture, green parks and creative neighbourhoods characterise the cityscape.

Stroll through El Poblado or Laureles, visit local markets or take the famous metro and cable cars, which offer impressive views over the Aburrá Valley. Medellín combines urban life with a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere and a mild climate all year round.

Day 11: Medellín

Day 12: Medellín - Armenia

Today you continue your journey to the heart of the Colombian coffee zone. The transfer from Medellín to Armenia takes you through varied mountain landscapes, green valleys and traditional villages in the Andes region.

After arriving in the countryside, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the surroundings. The afternoon is at your leisure - ideal for enjoying nature, taking a walk through the plantation or simply relaxing with a freshly brewed cup of Colombian coffee.

Day 13: Valle del Cocora

Today you will discover one of the most impressive landscapes in Colombia. The excursion takes you to the famous Cocora Valley, home to wax palms up to 60 metres high - the national symbol of Colombia. During a hike through green hills and cloud forests, you will enjoy spectacular views of the unique Andean landscape.

Afterwards, you will visit a traditional coffee farm in the Salento region. There you will learn more about the entire process - from the bean to the finished cup - and gain exciting insights into the importance of coffee for Colombia. A walk through the colourful village of Salento rounds off the day.

Day 14: Popayán

Today you continue your journey southwards and drive to Popayán, one of the most beautiful colonial towns in Colombia. The journey takes you through impressive Andean landscapes with green hills and small villages.

After your arrival, there is time for a first individual tour of the historic city centre. Popayán is also known as the "White City" - its whitewashed façades, colonial churches and cobbled streets give it a very special flair. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and perhaps one of the regional specialities.

Day 15: Popayán

Today is free for you to explore Popayán further. Stroll through the colonial old town, visit small museums or enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in one of the historic squares. The city is known for its religious architecture, traditional cuisine and cultural heritage.

Day 16: Popayán - Villavieja

Today you continue your journey towards the Tatacoa Desert. Firstly, you will be transferred and fly to Neiva. After your arrival, you will be picked up and travel on to Villavieja, the small town on the edge of the impressive desert landscape.

The surroundings change significantly: green Andean landscapes give way to dry, surreal formations in shades of red and ochre. The rest of the day is free for you to arrive in peace and enjoy the special atmosphere of this unique region.

Day 17: Villavieja

Today is free for you to explore the fascinating landscape of the Tatacoa Desert. The region impresses with bizarre rock formations, deeply carved canyons and intense shades of red and grey, which change colour depending on the position of the sun.

Take a walk through the surreal formations or enjoy the tranquillity of this extraordinary natural backdrop. The desert is particularly impressive in the early morning or late afternoon hours, when the light bathes the landscape in warm colours.

Day 18: Villavieja - Bogotá

Today you leave the impressive landscape of the Tatacoa Desert. You will first be transferred to Neiva, from where you will continue your journey to Bogotá by domestic flight. On arrival in the Colombian capital, you will be welcomed and taken to your accommodation.

The afternoon is free for you to gather your first impressions of Bogotá. Stroll through the lively streets, visit one of the numerous cafés or enjoy the view of the surrounding Andes mountains that frame the city.

Day 19: Bogotá

In the morning, discover Bogotá on a guided city tour. You will visit the historic district of La Candelaria with its colourful colonial houses, narrow streets and important sights. You will then be transferred to the airport. With many unforgettable impressions of Panama and Colombia, you will start your journey home (departure in the afternoon).
