Explore cities and relax by the sea on your round trip to Cuba
This 12-day round trip takes you to Cuba's most famous cities and its beautiful coasts. Start your adventure in Havana, where you will explore historic sites and vibrant neighborhoods. Continue to the lush Viñales Valley, known for its tobacco farms and breathtaking landscapes. Drive through the Bay of Pigs and Cienfuegos, each with its own charm and history, before reaching the colonial city of Trinidad. End your Cuba trip with a relaxing stay in Varadero, where you can enjoy the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
Day 1: Havana
Welcome to Cuba! We can organize a transfer to your accommodation (optional) if you do not wish to arrange your own transport. Depending on your arrival time, you will have some time to explore Havana after moving into your accommodation.

Day 2: Havana
At 8:30 a.m., you will meet your guide and explore the old town, La Habana Vieja, the heart of the city founded in the 16th century. We begin our first day with a discovery tour through colorful Havana. Since the early 1980s, Havana has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the Rum Museum, you will learn about the history and production of this beloved spirit, and after lunch, you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the Hotel Nacional. In the afternoon, a nostalgic ride in a vintage car awaits you, offering many fascinating insights into the country's history, culture, and people.

Day 3: Havana
In the morning, we will explore the social project Muraleando - a neighborhood transformed into a living work of art. We will have time to admire the stunning and colorful creations and learn more about the development of this community project. In the afternoon, we can refresh ourselves in the crystal-clear waters of the Playas del Este, a white sandy beach stretching over six kilometers.

Day 4: Havana - Las Terrazas - Viñales
Following the tobacco route, we drive into the province of Pinar del Río. Our destination for the day is Viñales. On our stop at the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, we visit the farming community of Las Terrazas, which thrives mainly on forestry and ecotourism. During our tour, we learn more about the local reforestation project. Afterwards, we visit a tobacco farmer (Casa del Veguero) in the rural Viñales area to gain insight into the cultivation and production of the world's finest tobacco. From the Los Jazmines viewpoint, we enjoy a magnificent view of the lush green landscape, unmistakably marked by the mogotes.

Day 5: Viñales
Hike through the valley "Coco Solo - Palmarito." Together with our guide, we will explore on foot the spectacular natural beauty of the Viñales Valley. Afterwards, we will visit the colorful wall painting "Mural de la Prehistoria" before enjoying a traditional Cuban meal for lunch. In the afternoon, there will be some free time to relax and recover from the hike.

Day 6: Viñales - Playa Larga
The drive along Cuba's "highway" toward the world-famous Bay of Pigs has its own special charm. We will, of course, make a stop at the Cueva de los Peces, where you can swim in the natural pool or at the nearby beach. In the afternoon, we will reach our destination for the day, Playa Larga, located in the legendary Bay of Pigs. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax.

Day 7: Playa Larga - Cienfuegos
Today we venture off the beaten path along the "Sendero Enigma de las Rocas" nature trail, set amidst a landscape of rocks and caves, with the opportunity to swim in a cenote. Afterwards, we continue to Cienfuegos. During a city tour, we admire the elegant mansions along the Paseo de Prado and the splendid architecture around Parque José Martí.

Day 8: Cienfuegos - Trinidad
Depart for Trinidad for a fascinating city tour and an evening visit to Palenque de los Congos Reales. Explore the well-preserved cobblestone streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and immerse yourself in the city's rich history and culture.

Day 9: Trinidad
Our excursion takes us to the nearby Valle de los Ingenios, a lush green valley and UNESCO World Heritage Site. One fascinating structure is the 52-meter-high tower (Torre Manaca Iznaga), which was once used to oversee the slaves. From the top, we can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the green valley.

Day 10: Trinidad - Varadero
Stop in Santa Clara to visit the impressive monuments to Che Guevara and Tren Blindado. After this cultural stopover, continue your journey to Varadero, where the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear water await you.

Day 11: Varadero
A full day at leisure in Varadero to enjoy the pristine beaches and resort amenities.
