You start in Playa del Carmen, where you can enjoy the lively beaches before travelling on to Mérida, the historic capital of the Yucatán. Here you will experience the world-famous Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá as well as the lesser-known but equally impressive ruins of Uxmal and immerse yourself in the mystical underworld in one of the cenotes. The journey then takes you to the tranquil and beautiful coastal town of Tulum, known for its spectacular Mayan ruins overlooking the turquoise sea. Day 1: Playa del Carmen
Private transfer from Cancun airport to your hotel in Playa del Carmen. After check-in, you can relax or take a stroll along the lively Quinta Avenida,
which is teeming with cafés, boutiques and beach bars. Enjoy your first evening under the Caribbean sky.

Day 2: Free day in Playa del Carmen
Organise your day in Playa del Carmen to suit your taste. Relax on the beach, book a snorkelling or diving tour (optional) or explore the town's markets and
restaurants on the beach. This is your time to enjoy the relaxed coastal landscape.

Day 3: Playa del Carmen - Mérida
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be taken by taxi to the ADO bus station to continue your journey to Mérida, the historic capital of the Yucatán. After a journey of around four hours, you will arrive at your Hotel María José. The colonial city of Mérida offers a fascinating mix of Spanish and Mayan culture. Use the afternoon to explore the central Plaza Grande square or savour the regional cuisine in one of the local restaurants.

Day 4: Chichén Itzá
Today, a visit to the world-famous Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá is on the programme. On a guided tour, you will explore the impressive pyramid of Kukulkán and learn more about the complex astronomy and architecture of the Maya. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous ruins of the Mayan culture. After marvelling at the towering pyramid of Kukulkán, you can cool off with a refreshing dip in a nearby cenote. End the day in the yellow-coloured "magical city" of Izamal before driving back to Mérida.

Day 5: Uxmal
Today you will visit the Mayan ruins of Uxmal, which are known for their detailed stone carvings and the impressive Pyramid of the Magician. After the visit, make a stop at one of the mysterious cenotes, natural water holes where you can take a refreshing dip. End the day with a visit to a local Mayan family, with whom you can share stories and experience traditions.

Day 6: Mérida - Tulum
After breakfast, drive from Mérida to Tulum and check into your hotel, just a few minutes from the beaches. You can spend the rest of the day as you wish: Relax on the white beaches, watch the colourful underwater world while snorkelling or explore the lively city centre. In the evening, we recommend savouring fresh seafood in one of the local restaurants.

Day 7: Tulum ruins
Today you will take a guided tour to the spectacular Mayan ruins of Tulum, which are perched on cliffs directly above the turquoise blue sea. The ruins, which were once an important Mayan trading city, offer a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. You will then explore the Jaguar Park, an impressive reserve that surrounds the ruins. After the tour, you can spend the rest of the day on the nearby beaches.

Day 8: Tulum - Cancún
After breakfast, your private transfer will take you from Tulum to Cancún airport or you have the option of extending your trip individually.
